2. Sean Connery – “The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen”

Truth be told, after almost 60 years in the film business, and around 100 movie and TV roles, it would simply be impossible that Sean Connery liked all of them.

Some of his movies just weren’t that great, and according to the British star, the 2003 flop called “The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen” was a nightmare.

While this comic book based story in which characters from classic literature unite to fight a great evil, sounds like a good idea, everybody hated it. Stephen Norrington’s fantasy adventure has a 17% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, only 30/100 metascore on IMDB, but it wasn’t only the critics who badmouthed this project.

Sean Connery doesn’t really look back at it with a smile on his face. “It was a nightmare. The director should never have been given $185 million,” said the actor. In fact, some believe that Sean Connery decided to retire from acting because of this movie. That’s how much he hated it.
