However odd it may sound, it was once a completely normal thing.
Johnny Depp was one of many actors considered to play the beloved slacker teenager Ferris Bueller, however, Depp was unable to do the part due to scheduling conflicts.
In the end, the part went to Matthew Broderick who climbed up the Hollywood ladder thanks to it and who gave us unrealistic ideas on what happens when you skip school. The famed movie wouldn’t be the same without Broderick, that’s for sure.
