14. “Carrie” (1976)
Unfortunately, bullying is one of the most frequent behaviors in schools today.
Always have been, always will be, and nobody really knows what exactly urges bullies to torture and be cruel to other kids, but the reality is that this happens on a daily basis in practically all schools all around the globe.
Carrie definitely had her fair share of cruel teenagers abusing her fragile spirit. Her ruthless classmates bullied her when her menstruation arrived, while her paranoid and overly-religious mother certainly didn’t help, and only managed to plant more guilt on her already tenuous conscience.
This is when Carrie starts feeling the wrath boiling inside her and realizes she possesses a powerful telekinetic ability that she can use to turn this timeless Stephen King story into an iconic example of a vengeful teen flick.
