The trend of being famous for being famous was started by Paris Hilton about 10 years ago. Since then, Hollywood has been overwhelmed by celebrities who have done little as artists and plenty as attention seekers to become famous.

On the other hand, there are also those who have tried to be actors, many of them who succeeded, but it’s tough to pinpoint the reasons behind their success.

Some got lucky breaks and others were good looking enough they could pass as actors. However, in most of these cases, time has shown that as their beauty or luck fade, so do their faces from the big screen.

1. Keanu Reeves

No talent? No problem! Keanu Reeves appears to be sleepwalking through most of his films, frozen in time and unable to deliver any emotion.

One of his worst performances is certainly in the “Walk in the Clouds”, where he plays a young war veteran who meets an unmarried pregnant girl afraid of her father, and proposes to pretend to be her husband.

Instead of giving a performance filled with emotional roller coasters, we see Reeves more as a terrified teenager with social anxiety issues.

On the other hand, although he did not receive much praise for his performance in “The Matrix”, we believe that Neo was actually a role he was born to play, a monotone, alien-like emotionless character where all his acting ability can shine through.
