Paramount is reviving the Bad Moms project that went south recently and it appears the production crew is not messing around.
The movie that was first supposed to be done by screenwriter Judd Apatow and would feature actress Leslie Mann is taking a U-turn, and what a U-turn it is!
With “Hangover” writers Jon Lucas and Scott Moore penning the script and producing the upcoming comedy, the project just got some serious reinforcement in for of a power trio – Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell and Christina Applegate.
What are Bad Moms all about?
According to Empire magazine, the story will “follow an overachiever of a mother who would seem to be living the perfect life, but unbeknownst to her family, is also incredibly stressed and so very ready for a break. So, she takes off with two equally harried moms on a quest for fun, freedom and frivolity”.
However, all hell is about to break loose when they get into conflict with the local PTA leader and the egoistic queen of the all local mothers who are not too happy about 3 new moms disrupting their plans for their meticulously organized neighborhood.
As for other details, this is all we know thus far. Shooting is not yet scheduled, but the very fact that the project is moving forward is enough for now.
