What is currently very interesting is that the cast for the new run of episodes is shaping up quite nicely, with Nathan Fillion, Tony Hale, Lucy Punch, Sara Rue and Roger Bart now joining the crew.
As The Wrap reports only Fillion’s role is currently known.
The Canadian actor will be portraying the brother of Snicket, the show’s “writer” and narrator, as brought to life by Patrick Warburton (star of shows like Family Guy, Rules Of Engagement).
Current Cast Of A Series Of Unfortunate Events
As Empire writes, the current cast includes:
“Malina Weissman, Louis Hynes and Presley Smith as Violet, Klaus and Sunny Baudelaire, who find themselves orphaned and shunted around different foster carers, usually either oddball members of their family or friends of their parents and more often than not plagued by the schemes of the conniving Count Olaf (Neil Patrick Harris).”
As far as the release date for season 2 is concerned, we know that in March Netflix announced there will indeed be season 2, however the streaming service is yet to specify when the show will return exactly.
Some predictions say that we can expect it to be January 2018.
Stay tuned.
