2. Malcolm X (1992)

“Malcolm X” is by far the most important movie regarding the Afro-Americans and their history in the States.

The movie, directed by Spike Lee, tells us the story of one of the most controversial, but also influential, Afro-American that ever lived in U.S.A.

We can see how his path, paved by his own decisions, led him from being a small-time crook to becoming a member of the Nation of Islam and a Black Nationalist leader.
